Sonam Kapoor will celebrate her B’day by spreading awareness about breast cancer!

Beautiful star Sonam Kapoor wants to make her birthday special one. She wants to do something special on her birthday which is on June 9th.

While other stars cut cakes and throw parties, Sonam Kapoor is doing something different on her birthday on June 9. Sonam who lost her aunt due to breast cancer, wants no one to suffer from it and so decided to bring in awareness. She tells "Everyone seems to know someone with breast cancer -- I lost an aunt to it. I hope I can make a difference in my own way. Therefore this year on my birthday I urge friends, family and fans who wish to gift me to do so by donating to this cause." She requests her fans to support her cause and is urging people to donate money and spread awareness about the illness.

Sonam who starred in 'Players' which performed well, is presently starring in Dhanush's debut film 'Raanjhnaa' and also Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. Her new project Herogiri was announced recently. When everyone celebrates their birthday cutting cakes and giving hi profile birthday bashes, Sonam determined to tread a different path, working for a social cause to educate people on deadly disease.
