Actor Riteish Deshmukh, who has a string of hit comedy movies under his belt, is now planning to get serious with a thriller and a black comedy.
"My next two films are comedies but yes, after that I will be doing a couple of serious films. I have decided on two films - one is a thriller and the other is a black comedy," the 33-year-old told at an event here.
Some of Riteish's hit comedies include "Masti", "Kya Kool Hai Hum", "Malamaal Weekly", "Heyy Babyy", "Dhamaal" and "Housefull."
Asked if he is bored of the comedy genre, Riteish told, "I am not bored of comedies, I have done four comedy films. When did I say that I am bored of comedies?"
He was last seen in "Housefull 2", and his forthcoming movie "Kyaa Super Kool Hai Hum" is a sex comedy.
He admits the poster of the film, a sequel to the 2005 "Kya Kool Hai Hum", is "naughty".
Also starring Tusshar Kapoor, the movie is slated to release Aug 2.

Genelia D'Souza's latest short hairdo

There's a special reason behind actress Genelia D'Souza's latest short hairdo. It was her husband, actor Riteish Deshmukh's suggestion, and Genelia was all for it because she feels he has a great sense of style.
"Riteish has a great sense of style, for sure. Actually, it was Riteish's idea and he had for long asked me why I don't try going short," the 24-year-old told.
The makeover is something she couldn't have experimented with while filming a movie.
"Normally, due to continuity issues, you don't get the opportunity to try a different style. I thought there is a break after marriage so let me do something that's different and new," added Genelia, who wedded Riteish in February.
Talking about her style statement, she said that since her college days, she loves street fashion.
"I don't know what's the definition of stylish is, but what I have always enjoyed is being creative in my own space. In college, I used to have my entire hand filled with friendship bands and that used to be my style statement, be it with any outfit. They were of different colours and looked really cool," told Genelia, who played a college girl in the 2008-hit "Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na."
"Then when my jeans would fade away, I would cut them off and use them as shorts or (wore) shirts tied up. So I like that kind of style and I would say I enjoy street style more when it is about casual dressing," she further added.

Genelia D’Souza turns a guru for young girls!

Genelia D’Souza who just tied the knot to Ritesh Deshmukh, is soon going to guide ten young girls on the TV show “Lux The Chosen One”.
“The show is about 10 beautiful girls who are here to prove a point and be the face of the UTV Stars. All the girls are confident and they know exactly what they want. It’s not like a typical reality show where everyone is just there to make some noise,” she told Wednesday at the launch of the show.
The hunt is for the face of UTV STARS.
So why Genelia did chose to groom the girls??
“When I was a newcomer, I needed all of this (mentoring), unfortunately I didn’t get anything. This is a platform where they can learn and outdo each other.”
“Sometimes you need that interest and comfortable age difference. They can listen to me and speak to me. This why I thought I could help. Be it my ads or films, I have always played a girl who is relatable and this is like that too,” told the 24-year-old.
So what’s the show all about?
“I am a mentor on ‘The Chosen One’ and we will invite Bollywood experts who will give them (the contestants) tasks. I will help the girls. If they have a problem, they will bring it to me. I will observe them and at the end of the day, we will have elimination.”
Genelia D’Souza will show the other side of her otherwise vivacious and friendly nature.
“You have to be strict sometimes because you have to teach them, so sometimes I will have to be strict. But 90 percent of the times I am their friend,” told the actress.
