Ranbir doesn’t want to act with ex-girlfriend Katrina in Raajneeti 2!

Katrina Kaif has been confirmed to play the lead role in Raajneeti 2. The actress is told to be the hero in the movie. Ranbir Kapoor, who was a part of Raajneeti, will not be seen in the movie this time.

A super hit 2010, Prakash Jha movie, the filmmaker tells, “It is very challenging to take the Raajneeti story forward. Most of the main characters are dead. Two-thirds of the characters will be completely new. Katrina (Kaif) will have an essential role.”

However, the Ranbir-Katrina chemistry will be missing in the second part. The movie is said to take a complete spin on the Mahabharat this time.

Reason why Ranbir is not a part of the sequel is because he doesn’t want to be sidelined by his so-called ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif.

Riteish Deshmukh wants to do drama and crime thrillers now!

Riteish Deshmukh, who has an outstanding timing for comedy and who has been seen in comedy films mostly, now says that he need to move on to the next level and that’s crime thrillers.

The actor will soon be seen in the sequel to Masti, opposite the original cast Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani and will soon go on the floors. He says, it’s high time he stops doing sequels and concentrate on dramas and thrillers.

“My next film will be ‘Masti 2′. I will start shooting in the first week of August,” Riteish Deshmukh told.

“It is myself, Aftab and Vivek in the film. It’s my fourth film with Indra Kumar I feel like I am married to him,” Riteish, told.

“This is my third sequel and then the fourth one will come, then I will stop doing sequels because all the comedies that I am doing are sequels – Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum (a sequel to ‘Kyaa Kool Hai Hum’) and ‘Masti 2′. I have not done a new comedy.”

“In fact, in my case, it has been the other way round. ‘Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya’ happened and it was a rom com where Genelia (D’Souza) is more aggressive character. Thankfully, it worked.”

“Obviously these series of films that I am doing are sequels, they are brands and they are bound to be comedy. After these films things have changed because people’s perception has changed so now I am looking forward to do one drama and one crime thriller.”

Riteish’s next film is “Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum”.

Anushka Sharma feels lonely nowadays!

However, Anushka Sharma is feeling alone once the shoot is done for the day. Reason: Katrina Kaif’s family resides in London, while SRK on the other hand is with his family in London till mid-July.

Once the cast is done for the day, both SRK and Katrina are with their respective families while Anushka is all alone on the streets, busy shopping.

If what we’ve heard is true, Anushka has spent time with SRK’s family, twice. Also, Karan Johar who was in London till a few days back was seen hanging out with Anushka.

Pouring his heart out, Bharat called Esha his "princess for life," and added that that he is "looking forward to having my best life and my most wonderful life with my partner."

A beaming Esha was dressed in an orange-red heavily embroidered lehenga-choli by designer Rokcy S, while her beau flaunted a royal-blue embroidered sherwani.

Aamir Khan who is busy with his 'Satyameva Jayathe' sprang a surprise on Rani Mukherjee when he determined to visit her in the sets. He shared some tips with the film unit and delighted everyone with his chaste marathi. Rani is presently starring in a film titled Aiyya and with the film being shot in the same premises as that of his reality show Satyameva Jayathe, Amir took timeout and dropped in to visit the film's sets.

Sachin Kundalkar who is making his debut as director told, "Rani told me Aamir might visit, but I thought she was pulling my leg. We were shooting a song sequence a floor away from Satyamev Jayate and, at around 4 pm, we were dumbstruck to see Aamir enter our set," Produced by Anurag Kashyap, Aiyya is a woman-centric movie based on the idea of switching the roles of women with men -- it portrays men as objects of desire.

"It is a bold theme in terms of its constitution. Director revealed that Amir spent quite some time during the shooting and later interacted with Rani. Everyone on the sets was awestruck to hear him speak in chaste Marathi. "It was crisp and flawless, exactly as I or any Maharashtrian would speak it. It was unbelievable," tells Sachin.

'I, Me Aur Main' is a perfect break for me to change people's perceptions about me," tells Prachi Desai who will be seen playing her age in the movie. She adds that usually she has been offered roles older than her age.

“It is such a bubbly role. I don't think people have normally seen me like that. The film is a perfect opportunity for me to change people's perceptions about me," she told.

Directed by debutant Kapil Sharma, John will be seen romancing five girls in "I, Me Aur Main". Prachi is one of them.

She told, " 'I, Me Aur Main' is a modern film. I play a girl who is very young. She just comes into John's life and changes everything around him."

The young actress started her career as the lead in TV show "Kasamh Se", feels that the industry had a set perception about her and that nobody wanted to try her for new roles. According to her, she was always offered roles older to her.

"The reason for being offered roles much older than me was because that is the kind of role I had done on television. So, I guess, people wanted to stick to that. Nobody wanted to experiment with me. They just wanted to capitalise with what they had seen me as," told the actress.

The 25-year-old made her big screen debut with "Rock On!" and later featured in "Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai", "Life Partner" and lately released "Teri Meri Kahaani".

Her next is Rohit Shetty's "Bol Bachchan". Releasing July 6, the movie, which has Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan in the lead roles, is her first comedy and she is thrilled about it.

An “electric blast” on the sets of Dabangg 2 causes injury!

Three technicians were injured on the sets of Dabangg 2, at the Mehboob studio, following an “electric blast”. They were rushed to Lilavati Hospital by Salman Khan. News has it that they are all out of danger.

“There was an accident while filming an action sequence for ‘Dabangg 2′ at Mehboob Studio, Bandra. Three technicians sustained injuries and were taken to Lilavati Hospital by the doctor and ambulance that are on precautionary standby as a safety measure while filming action sequences,” told an official statement from the publicists of the film.

“Members of the principal cast were not filming during the mishap. All three technicians are out of danger,” the statement read.

A sequel to 2010 blockbuster “Dabangg”, Dabangg 2 once more stars Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in key roles.

Salman doesn’t want any disturbance in his vanity van!

If what we’ve heard is true, it seems, Salman Khan has asked no one to disturb him while he is in his vanity van.

The unit of ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ is facing a hell lot of trouble with this attitude of Salman Khan. This is one reason why the shoot of the movie is getting delayed.

Speaking to a daily, one unit member told, “Salman wants to step out of his vanity when he feels like. Nobody can call him for a shot. The entire unit has to simply wait for him to alight. Even if it means delaying the shoot.”

Well, this is not the first time. Previously too, Salman refused to shoot a song in Morocco and so a special set created only because of his starry tantrums.

However, director Kabir Khan or producer Aditya Chopra has not complained so far.

Priyanka Chopra got all open while in a talk with a film magazine. The actress spoke her heart out, taking about how she feels for SRK, issues concerning star wives, etc.

There were news previously this year about how insecure a few star wives were about their husband working with Priyanka Chopra. So when Priyanka was asked about it, she told, “If an actor doesn’t want to work with me, he won’t. I don’t want to get into whether he won’t because his wife or director has warned him against it or he himself is averse to it.”

Priyanka was very clear about herself, adding that she made it so far in her film career without any Godfather in the industry and that she is a self made girl.

She also told that if people have issues with whatever, it’s their problem and not her, so she doesn’t really care much.

Radhika Apte’s sexy mini skirt is behind mobbing in Pahalgam!

Radhika Apte who impressed all in Ram Gopal Varma's 'Raktha Charitra', went on to star in Prakash Raj's Dhoni. She is presently starring in Vetriselvan opposite Ajmal. The movie is directed by renowned ad film maker Rudran. While the film makers were shooting a song near Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, Radhika was mobbed by crowd.

Speaking about the incident Rudran tells, "After many years, a Tamil film shooting is happening there. We were canning a solo song of Radhika where she had to wear a mini skirt for the dance. In no time, a huge crowd had gathered there, went berserk and started taking pictures on their mobile phone, "When my crew tried to prevent them from doing so, they got annoyed and one of them shouted 'this is Kashmir! Indians should not shoot here.' We immediately packed off Radhika to her vanity van and cancelled the day's shoot. "Heaping praises on Radhika's dedication Rudhran said, "Despite language problem Radhika is a 'single take' artiste. Even if it is two page dialogues, she would get her act okayed in one take."

While Ajmal is a medical student Radhika plays a criminal lawyer. Though the child actress Taruni Sachdev, who essays Radhika's younger sister died recently in Nepal plane crash, the director sentimentally wants to retain her portions in the film shot already. The film is a romantic thriller for which music is composed by Manisharma.

Kainaz Motivala turns a sexy taxi driver after Ragini MMS!

After displaying her bold self in "Ragini MMS", actress Kainaz Motivala will slip into the driver's seat to play a chauffeur in Vickrant Mahajan's new movie "Challo Driver".

"I loved the script and the fact that it is not a usual, run-of-the-mill character. I liked the character of a Delhi girl looking for excitement and with a desire to prove a point to the sexist society," Kainaz told in a statement.

There was another factor that she loved about the movie.

"Since I knew driving, I had a lot of fun driving few of the best cars for the film," she further added.

The movie, releasing July 20, also features its director Vickrant as an actor.

Previously, Deepika Padukone had played the role of a female chauffeur in 2008 movie "Bachna Ae Haseeno".
