We were shooting a song sequence a floor away from Satyamev Jayate and, at around , we were dumbstruck to see Aamir enter our set," Produced by Anurag Kashyap, Aiyya is a woman-centric movie based on the idea of switching the roles of women with men -- it portrays men as objects of desire.

"It is a bold theme in terms of its constitution. Director revealed that Amir spent quite some time during the shooting and later interacted with Rani. Everyone on the sets was awestruck to hear him speak in chaste Marathi. "It was crisp and flawless, exactly as I or any Maharashtrian would speak it. It was unbelievable," tells Sachin.

Sharman Joshi and Boman Irani starrer 'Ferrari Ki Sawari' hits the theatres Friday and Aamir Khan hopes that the movie does so well at the box office that it beats the success of their movie "3 Idiots".

"I am here to wish the entire team. I am sure they have made a good film and Sharman is a nice actor and our wishes are with them. We want everyone who watched '3 Idiots' to watch 'Ferrari Ki Sawaari' also. We wish that this film goes far beyond '3 Idiots'," the 47-year-old told.

'Ferrari Ki Sawaari' is Rajesh Mapuskar's directorial debut and has been produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra.

Rajkumar Hirani, who has edited the film, stated that the intention was to make a movie for under Rs.100 crore.

"The film has not been made with the intention of crossing the Rs.100 crore marks. If that had been our intention, we would have been making at least one film a year. I take three years to make a film. If money was the intention, then every year we would have been making two films," told Hirani.
"Ferrari Ki Sawaari" tells the story of a father who will go to any length to fulfill his son's dream of becoming a cricketer.

Katrina Kaif is super busy. In Thailand, she's reportedly shooting heavy duty action sequences with Salman Khan for "Ek Tha Tiger" by day, and training by night for her forthcoming action sequences, which include hand-to-hand combat, with Aamir Khan, for "Dhoom 3".
"Aditya Chopra has flown in three special trainers for Katrina to get body-toned for her action sequences with Aamir in 'Dhoom 3'," told a source adding that the trainers have to make her look convincing as a combatant assassin in "Dhoom 3".
Kabir Khan is making the actress do other kind of stunts in front of the camera.
A source from on-location told, "Its two completely different kinds of action discipline for Katrina on camera for 'Ek Tha Tiger' and off camera for 'Dhoom 3'. And it's sapping her energies.
"Her metabolism is confused - as during daytime she is doing hardcrore raw action with Salman and in the night training for higholy sophisticated Jackie Chan kind of flips and somersaults for 'Dhoom 3'."
Luckily, for the over-exerted diva, she now has some reprieve on the "Dhoom 3" front. Apparently Aamir Khan has informed his producers that he is not quite ready for action.
Katrina remained unavailable for comment.

SRK and Salman Khan
Satyamev Jayate, Aamir Khan’s latest TV show is a super hit and has sort of shaken the nation. The first episode which was telecast last Sunday, has received remarkable reviews.

Taslima Nasreen, a writer from Bangladesh, appreciates the actor for his efforts and salutes Aamir for taking up such an initiative. However, she says that other Bollywood superstars, naming Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan in particular, should take the initiative to talk about rape and sexual abuse of women.

“Dear Salman Khan, please talk about rape, domestic violence and dowry murder on TV tomorrow. Ppl should know about these problems,” Taslima Nasreen posted on her Twitter page.

“Dear Shahrukh Khan, pl talk about sexual abuse & sexual slavery on TV. Ppl shd know about these problems. We talk, but we’re not film stars,” she further added.

Why filmstars in particular?

Well, Taslima Nasreen stressed on the fact that filmstars have the power to grab the attention of such issues.

“From now on film stars should talk about social problems on TV. Everybody will listen to them. Ppl don’t listen to human rights activists. Feminists have been talking about female foeticide and it’s dangerous effects for decades. Ppl have learned about it today from star plus,” she posted and saluted Aamir Khan for creating awareness about female foeticide on the very first episode of Satyamev Jayate”.

“I salute Aamir Khan for being so courageous and for raising people’s consciousness. #gendercide,” Taslima Nasreen posted.

Not like Shahrukh and Irrfan, Aamir never detained overseas!

Aamir Khan
Not alone Shahrukh Khan, but Irrfan Khan has also been stopped a number of times international airports for sudden checks. However, Aamir Khan who also shares the same surname with Shahrukh and Irrfan, has never been stopped for inquiry.
“I was never detained,” Aamir Khan said journalists.
On Thursday, Shah Rukh was stopped at the New York airport for nearly two hours. This was the second time SRK had to face such an embarrassment. Though the US immigration authorities apologized, yet, the incident did not go well with New Delhi. They reacted telling Washington this “habit of detention and then apology” won’t do.
Irrfan told, “Even I have been stopped many-a-times at airports at immigration.”

“Whenever you cross immigration, you give your passport and they would ask you the purpose of your visit. And then they would suddenly check something on their computer and their perception changes,” Irrfan said journalists, at the launch of the DVD of “Paan Singh Tomar”.
“They take away your phone and do not allow you to call anyone. They call the police and take you in and you can’t question them. This is system’s ignorance…Their system is not foolproof. When all verifications are properly done, then they leave you,” he further added.
