Rumors had it that Shahid Kapoor was not very keen on working with Sonakshi Sinha and that he had declined certain movies only because the actress was a part of it. However, Shahid finally clears the air.

It was told that the reason Shahid never wanted to work with Sonakshi was because she looked older than him and that he always prefers working with young looking actresses.

In a fresh interview, Shahid Kapoor rubbished all such rumors and said such things disturb him.

And you know what Shahid does when his movies fair poor at the box office??? Well, the actor is no less than a kid. He finds things to throw around.

The actor also disclosed that he is very keen on doing an out-and-out action film, and he couldn’t gat any luckier when he was signed by director Prabhu Deva for a movie on the lines of action.

Ranbir wants fulfill Shahid’s wish of sperm donation!

Actor Ranbir Kapoor, who spellbound the audiences with his performance in "Rockstar", feels that sperm donation is a good cause.

"Sperm donation is a good thing. After all you are helping someone," the 30-years-old said journalists when he was asked how he feels about sperm donation.

Ever since the movie "Vicky Donor" has come out, sperm donation has become one of the most talked about issues. In fact, during an act at the International Indian Film Academy awards in Singapore, Shahid Kapoor pulled Ranbir's leg saying he should donate sperm.

"When Shahid wanted me to donate sperm, I was backstage and I could not do it. So now it is on my priority list to donate sperm to him," told Ranbir amusingly.

He was talking on the sidelines of the screening of Anurag Kashyap's directorial venture "Gangs of Wasseypur".

Those who couldn't enjoy the Shahid-Ranbir live performance at IIFA, they can watch it on the small screen. It will be broadcast on Star Plus July 7.

Small movies bigger than Rs.100 crore films: Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra's "Don 2: The King Is Back" and "Agneepath" managed to mint over Rs.100 crore ($22 million) at the box office, but she hails the small budget wonders that have rocked the industry in current times.

"I'm happy that two films of mine - 'Don 2' and 'Agneepath' saw that figure (Rs.100 crore) but there have been a lot of small films as well which, according to ratio, have been bigger hits than most Rs.100 crore films - be it 'The Dirty Picture' or 'Kahaani', 'Ishaqzaade' or 'Vicky Donor'," Priyanka told here.

Asked if her upcoming movie "Teri Meri Kahaani" will be able to cross the big figure, she told, "It doesn't mean that only a film that makes Rs.100 crore is a hit. We just hope people like our film and the numbers will follow."

Priyanka spoke on the sidelines of a special screening of "Teri Meri Kahaani", directed by Kunal Kohli.

The release of the film clashes with Anurag Kashyap's "Gangs Of Wasseypur" Friday, but its male lead Shahid Kapoor tells it's not a reason to get worried.

"There's enough place for two movies, our films are very different. So I don't think such issues should be there. I wish them all the best and hope their film also does very well," told Shahid.

Shahid also hopes the viewers appreciate his pairing with Priyanka once again after "Kaminey".

"People really liked us in 'Kaminey' even though we had just eight scenes together and here we have 70 scenes together. So really looking forward to see how audience reacts to it," the 31-year-old told.

On the other hand we saw at the party, Bipasha was not at all disturbed to see Priyanka and Shahid together. She was spending her time with hotties like Sameera Reddy and Dia Mirza. And the three girls stayed till the end of the party and had a great time together!

Actors Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra freshly traveled by a "local" train, and both told they boarded a suburban train after a long time and it was a fun ride.

"I got on to a train after a long time. It was a bit chaotic because there was a lot of media and public. It was tough to reach our destination because of the crowd but getting onto a train and going from one station to another was fun," told Shahid.

Priyanka said, "Initially, when I came to Mumbai I used to travel in local trains a lot. So, it felt nice that trains haven't changed, the public has not changed. So it was a good experience."

Both the actors and director Kunal Kohli were promoting their movie "Teri Meri Kahaani". They first boarded a local train to reach Jai Hind College, Churchgate, and from there they went to Oberoi Mall to launch Opium eyewear in a car.

Seemingly, the whole train was booked for Rs. 5,00,000.

Kohli flaunted his funny side by telling, "We hope 'Teri Meri Kahaani' is a superhit. We have just shown three births and it is a time of sequels. So if the movie is a hit, I'll show four more births in the next film."

Earlier this year, actress Vidya Balan also undertook a similar promotional medium for her film hit film "Kahaani".

Vijay Anand’s style in Teri Meri Kahaani’s song ‘Uff’

In his forthcoming film Teri Meri Kahaani, in the song “Uff”, director Kunal Kohli has tried to ape late filmmaker Vijay Anand’s style.

“One of the best directors of the 1960 era was Vijay Anand and I have tried to shoot the song like a tribute to him. Shot it like the way he used to shoot the songs, like in ‘Teesri Manzil’ and films like that,” said Kunal Kohli.

“So I have given it that flavour of music and the shooting style as if it’s a Vijay Anand song,” he added.

A love story with a span of three eras, 1910, 1960 and 2012, “Teri Meri Kahaani”, stars Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in the lead and the film is set to hit theaters on June 22.

Shahid Kapoor says “‘Uff’ I think is a very interesting word. You have heard a lot of ‘uffs’ and ‘yahoo’ in the 1960s.”

Composed by Wajid of duo Sajid-Wajid, the song is sung beautifully by Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chauhan.

“The way he (Sonu) has sung it, I think you’ve just got to hear it to believe it. I feel that in whichever film Sonu or Sunidhi sing for me, that film is complete for me,” Wajid said.

Bollywood megastars Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Aamir Khan have adopted villages as part of the Greenathon campaign to work for its welfare and raise awareness about the environment.

The fourth edition of NDTV-Toyota Greenathon raised Rs.8.89 crore for the benefit of 508 villages. While Shah Rukh adopted 12 villages, Aamir adopted five villages. Greenathon brand ambassador Priyanka adopted two villages and her "Teri Meri Kahaani" co-star Shahid took three villages.

Actors Rahul Bose, Arjun Kapoor, chef Ritu Dalmia and music composer Bappi lahiri adopted a village each.

Actor Milind Soman also contributed towards Greenathon by running a 1500-km Green Run, starting April 20 from Qutub Minar in New Delhi, across five states.

According to Shahid Kapoor, the one and only entertainer of the Hindi film industry is Salman Khan and the fact cannot be changed. Salman is Shahid’s all time much loved actor.

“I don’t think anybody can be Salman Khan. And I don’t think anybody should try and be like him. There is only one Salman Khan and I am sure he is not trying to be like someone else,” Shahid Kapoor said journalists.

“I am a huge fan of him and enjoy his work. I am not trying to be someone else and I am trying to create an identity for myself,” the 31-year-old told.

A female stalker managed to dodge security and get up to Shahid Kapoor’s doorstep claiming to be his wife. The girl in her early 30’s has been known to follow Shahid after shooting hours and intended to meet with him. She is the daughter of a yesteryear's iconic actor.

The woman lives in the neighboring building. Shahid had been concerned enough to understand the sensitivity of the matter and had been ignoring the incidents so far before the situation got a little too far from his tolerance level. She scaled the boundary wall, bypassed the security and landed on Shahid’s doorstep which is on the 13th floor of Rajega Classique. She began thumping the door heavily wishing to meet with him. Shahid, recognizing her voice called security which escorted the woman away.

The woman is known to have a very disturbed life after her father’s death and couldn’t ever recover from the trauma. She had also faced a professional backdrop which proved to be her lifelong disappointment. She had started her career in films by starring as a B-grade actress which had blown afterwards. Considering her father’s background, Shahid refused to even comment on the matter. Not only that, he even refused to disclose the identity of the woman.

A cup of coffee behind ‘teri Meri Kahaani’ happened!

They say a lot can happen over a cup of coffee. Well, this states true at least for Shahid Kapoor and the Teri Meri Kahaani gang.

The actor tells it was over a cup of coffee that actually made Teri Meri Kahaani happen.

“One day over coffee Kunal Kohli said that he had an idea which he really loved but it was not developed. It was just a one line story. He told me it would be an entertaining love story with the same two actors in three different time periods,” Shahid Kapoor told in a statement.

Shahid says initially it was a little hard to understand the time concept in the script.

“I told Kunal that I didn’t understand (the time concept) and asked him to explain it to me. He then explained…”

The film stars Priyanka Chopra, alongside Shahid Kapoor. The movie will hit the theatres June 22.

Sonakshi had lately admitted that she prefers working with older men in the industry and that she is more comfortable with them. Even since she made such a confession, younger actors in Bollywood do not want to be paired with her and the key reason is that she would look older than them.

It was heard that Sonakshi wanted to pair up with Ranbir Kapoor. However, Ranbir Kapoor refused her for the very fact that she would look older than him. The same applied to Shahid Kapoor too.

According to a close source, “Sonakshi is very keen to work with Ranbir and Shahid, who are closer to her age. More so since she’s also working with Imran Khan in Milan Luthria’s sequel to Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai. But it seems she heard about Shahid joking that she would look older to him if they were to do a film together. That’s why she’s said to have declined the remake of Vettai.”

Interestingly, we we notice, all of Sonakshi’s co-stars till date have been older actors. Two films with Salman Khan, three with Akshay Kumar and another with Ajay Devgn.
