Top Bollywood Actress Biography
Kajol, the daughter of actress Tanuja and Shomu Mukherjee, made her mark in Bollywood with her second film, the 1993 blockbuster Baazigar. She is considered one of the most talented and successful actresses of the Nineties. She went on to form a highly successful screen pair with Shah Rukh, delivering four super-hits with Karan Arjun, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kabhi Khusie Kabhi Gham, apart from Baazigar. She played a villainous role in the 1997 film Gupt and became the first actress to win a Filmfare Best Villain Award. At the peak of her career, Kajol married her long-time boyfriend Ajay Devgan in 1999 and in 2001 took a break from Bollywood.She returned to acting with the film Fanaa in 2004 (the film was released in 2006). Kajol has a daughter Nysa with Ajay Devgan.

Vidya Balan hails from Ottapalam town in Palakkad district of Kerala. She comes from a Tamil speaking Brahmin (Iyer) family. She was born on January 1st, 1978 to P.R Balan and Saraswati. Her father, P.R Balan is the Vice president of ETC channel and her mother is a homemaker. She also has a younger sister named Priyamani. She completed her schooling from St Anthony's Girls High School, Mumbai and attained her graduation degree in Sociology from St Xavier's College. It was while studying for MA at the University of Mumbai that Vidya Balan got her first offer in films. Vidya Balan has also been trained in carnatic music and has also studied and performed at Prithvi Theatre Workshops. Vidya comes across as a God fearing girl who wishes to give credit of her success with her family and friends. She fits into the league of actresses like Tabu and Madhuri Dixit who are known for their substantial roles and absolute talent in acting.

Aishwarya rai was an architecture student before she entered modeling as her part-time job. She was best known for her Pepsi commercial with Mahima Chaudhry. With her green-grey eyes, she was already approached by big names in India's film industry, where they offered her starring roles. She rejected the film offers since she aimed to be an architect. However, fate had other things in store for her after she was crowned Miss World 1994. Soon after her winning, again she received offers to star in movies. In Southern India, she was best known for her role as Madhumita/Veishnavi in Jeans (1998) and as Meenakshi in Kandukondain Kandukondain (2000). She won the Filmfare Award for best actress for her performance in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999) as Ajay Devgan's wife who is in love with another man. She also won rave reviews for her performance as a rape victim in Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai (2000).

Ayesha Takia (Hindi: आयेशा टाकिया आजमी; born Ayesha Takia on 10 April 1986) is an Indian actress who mainly appears in Bollywood films. Her film career started with Taarzan: The Wonder Car (2004) for which she won the Filmfare Best Debut Award. She was highly acclaimed for her performance as a young widow in Dor (2006).
