Preity Zinta, one of the fittest and alluring actresses, finds nothing wrong with being curvaceous. She believes size issues are a personal choice, and tells she supports Vidya Balan for flaunting her curves proudly and setting a new trend.

"I think she (Vidya Balan) is a fabulous actress. What's wrong with her? There is always a rule - it takes one to lead and rest to follow. The choice you have to make is whether you are a leader or a follower," Preity told.

"If there is one size zero and if 10 people want to become size zero, it's a different thing. If one is a size 12 or 10, and people want to be size 10, it's a different thing," she added.

"The Dirty Picture", one of 2011's biggest hits, saw Vidya flaunting her curves in the role of southern sex siren Silk.

"I think Vidya Balan is beautiful, she is gorgeous and she is a fabulous actor," further added Preity.

About the hype being created around size zero, Preity told, "For normal people, it is very unfair to keep saying 'size zero is beautiful'. Being overweight is not good because it is bad for your health. (But) there is no such thing that this is the only size."

"I feel really bad for the normal people because their pressure is - 'If you eat this diet, you will look like her', which is really wrong, you can't look like anyone else," Preity said.

The actress has been away from the arc lights for a long while now and is set to stage a comeback with her debut production "Ishkq in Paris".

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan is all praises for Preity Zinta's openness and her guts to survive in a "cruel" world without any help.

"I have always admired Preity for her drive and guts in a world that can be most cruel to a single girl. But just look at the way she has managed her career, all alone, without any traditional assistance from the industry," Amitabh posted on his blog.

"She is frank and painfully honest and outspoken to the 'o', and that is an admirable quality for a girl that had to face some rather tragic and unfortunate events very early in her life."

"She put her hand into business, knew nothing about it, but was determined to educate herself. So she went across to US for a short course in business management at a prestigious college (Harvard Business School) and came back wiser, educated and a lot more confident and not for a moment keeping too far away from her profession of choice - films!" he further added.

The 69-year-old actor has shared screen space with Preity in "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna", "Jhoom Barabar Jhoom" and "The Last Lear".

Amitabh was invited by Preity to a party thrown by the French embassy in honour of Isabelle Adjani, who is shooting with the actress for his debut production venture "Ishkq In Paris".

"Preity Zinta produces and acts in a film which also has in its cast the beautiful Isabelle Adjani from France. Isabelle is in town for its shoot and Preity invites us for a party at the Sofitel Hotel, hosted by the French Ambassador, to meet the lovely lady. Its a quiet dignified evening, and because I am fond of Preity, I go along for precisely 10 minutes, to wish her and her guest," he wrote.

Actress Preity Zinta is on a hunt for a young girl with a dimpled right cheek to play junior Preity in her debut production "Ishqk In Paris".

"My casting agents are looking for a four to seven-year-old girl who has one dimple on her right cheek and can play a younger me for my film. So difficult to find a little girl who looks like me thanx to the dimple on my right cheek! Uff! Going crazy with that casting! Grrrrrrr," posted the actress.

She has asked her Twitter followers to help her team with the task.

"If anyone genuinely knows of any little girls that can play mini me (my younger role), please send photos to ishqinparis.casting@gmail.com. Thanks," she further added.

Preity was super thrilled to shake a leg with her preferred buddy.

“Shooting this sunday 4 Ishkq In Paris with Salman! Dancing shoes are still on…Set is crowded so taking off 4 lunch & ofcourse! Love u Mom!” Preity Zinta posted on Twitter.

The actress couldn’t stop thanking Salman after the song was complete.

It’s been a while now we’ve seen the vivacious Preity Zinta perform on stage. The actress, who kept away from the limelight for a few years, was super tense about her stage performance at the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 5 in Pune.

The 37-year-old posted, “On April 8, KXIP play Pune and I will be performing at the stadium! Doing it for Ganesh Hegde who I started my career with and OMG I am Nervous (sic)”.

“It’s been 3 and a half years since I last performed on stage. Suddenly the butterflies have doubled,” she further posted.

Preity Zinta is the co-owner of IPL’s team Kings XI Punjab (KXIP).

The actress is presently working on her first home production titled “Ishq in Paris”.

Preity has verified the news, “We are very excited to have Salman on board. He’s always supported me and I love him with all my heart!” Preity seemed quite thrilled about roping in Salman Khan in the movie.

The director of the movie Prem Soni along with Preity Zinta will make sure that Salman’s song becomes “THE” song of the year. Salman’s scene and song will be shot in April and a lavish set will be set up for him, in one of the local studios.

Ishkq In Paris is expected to release in September this year.
