Beating stars like Aishwarya Rai, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Vidya Balan, Katrina Kaif, Sonam Kapoor, Sunidhi Chauhan, Bipasha Basu, Ekta Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Sania Mirza, Freida Pinto and Shruti Hassan, Priyanka Chopra made it to the top, winning the title India’s Glam Diva.

The extremely gorgeous Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra won the title of BIG CBS Love’s India’s Glam Diva.

Priyanka Chopra told, “Congratulations to BIG CBS on their one-year anniversary and thank you for selecting me your first Indian Glam Diva! It’s really flattering since it’s a poll, a voting by people, people who watch your films, people who love you for who you are.”

Jalandhar girl Vanya Mishra was Friday crowned Pantaloons Femina Miss India (PFMI) World 2012 title at a gala event here.

She will represent India at the global pageant later this year.

Rochelle Maria Rao from Chennai won the title of Miss India International, while Prachi Mishra from Pune is Miss India Earth.

The winners were decided by a jury panel that comprised of actresses Sonam Kapoor and Sonali Bendre; filmmakers Ekta Kapoor and Rohit Shetty; cricketer Harbhajan Singh; designer Raghavendra Rathore; singer Sonu Niigaam and TV actress Sakshi Tanwar. They picked up the best three out of 20 contestants.

The deciding question was - "If you have an option, will you create thousand jobs or feed thousand children daily?"

Miss India 2011 title holders Kanistha Dhankhar, Hasleen Kaur and Ankita Shorey crowned the winners.

The event, which took place at the Bhavans Ground, saw scintillating performance by Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri. Singer actor Ali Zafar enthralled the audience with his power packed "Madhubala" performance from the movie "Mere Brother Ki Dulhan".

Ayushman Khurana and Manish Paul hosted the event.

The Tattooed Poets Project: Eric Morago

This morning's tattooed poet is Eric Morago, who shares these lines of verse from his forearm:

I am a BIG Charles Bukowski fan, so I immediately recognized these lines ("what matters most / is how you / walk through the / fire") when I saw the photo.
Eric explains:

"The tattoo is taken from a the title of a collection of poems 

by Charles Bukowski. 

 I got [the tattoo] over Thanksgiving break at a local tattoo shop (Body Art Tattoo) in my hometown of Whittier, CA during my first semester of grad school.  I had just finished grading a bunch of papers as well as writing my own for a class and was just overwhelmed by what the next two years had in store for me that I wanted to do something commemorate the struggle ahead.  So that when all was said and done, M.F.A in hand, there was also tangible proof (besides a piece of paper) for what I had I succeeded in obtaining.  And the words would be a damn good reminder on those occasions where papers and grading and thesis deadlines loomed in the distance." 

By way of poetry, Eric offers up this tattoo-related gem:

ENTANGLED

A beautiful portrait of destruction,
her back is tattooed from shoulder
to shoulder—a giant octopus tears
boats apart with unworldly tendrils.
This turns me on.  I am a prepubescent
again thinking I’ve found ambrosia
between the pages of Victoria’s Secret
catalogues.  I get dizzy, lost in fantasy.
How though its body is submerged
in murky water, hidden by shading,
I believe the monster is winking at me.
I sit, imagine freckles into tiny frenzied
sailors jumping ship into the dark of her
skin, sinking down spine’s curve,
drowning, or falling into the creature’s
waiting, open-beaked mouth.  I would
never tell her any of this, of course.
Better she stay in the peep, a shadowy
figure of myth.  And like a yarn-spinning
seadog swearing by fantastical beasts—
all tentacles, sharp snouted and snarl
toothed—I too am ensnared, imagination
entangled in the suction-cupped arms
of wanting.  It is all I can do to fight,
struggle being pulled under an inky
veil where our eyes can clearly meet,
where any and all mystique is gone.

Enters Elvis, a Jack Russell terrier that Kareena has been dreaming of, from quite sometime now. The actress has become quite fond of the pet.

Even Saif Ali Khan loves spending time with his dog and takes him out where ever he goes.

We are very sure, the little doggie is having a great time.

Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor will be seen in their next, Agent Vinod, which releases on March 23.

Katrina takes responsibility of styling herself for the SRK’s movie!

Now Katrina Kaif is following Aamir Khan’s footsteps. We hear that, just like Aamir, the actress also is showing personal interest in her forthcoming Yash Chopra’s untitled movie. She has taken the responsibility of styling herself for the movie.

A source reveals, “Katrina feels she’s understood the character so well that she’s taking it on herself to go out and shop for the clothes, accessories and other trinkets for her character. Katrina knows London very well and knows from where to get the stuff she needs”.

Katrina Kaif’s spokesperson is quoted as telling, “She (Katrina) personally has been shopping for accessories and clothes for the film. Katrina has envisioned her character and knows that she is the only one who can do justice to it. The song they are currently shooting in London will make other romantic songs in the industry sound and look mediocre.”

Katrina Kaif and Shahrukh Khan will be seen together for the first time in Yash Chopra’s untitled flick. The film also stars Anushka Sharma.

Is Rani Mukerji living with Aditya Chopra in London?

Rani Mukherjee celebrated her Birthday in London, last week. Well, she spent her big day with her so-called beau, Aditya Chopra. Yes, the actress flew all the way to London, taking out time from her hectic schedule, only to be with him on her birthday.

Supposedly, Aditya Chopra is in London, busy with Yash Chopra untitled film starring Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. Rani on the other hand is shooting for Anurag Kashyap untitled film. The actress flew down to London, spent quality time with Aditya and later went to dinner with Yash Chopra and Shahrukh Khan.

A source from Yash Raj Films said, “For the past few years, Rani and Adi have been celebrating their birthdays and all important occasions together. With Adi currently stationed in London to look into his father’s directorial venture with Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, Rani decided to take a break from shooting for Anurag Kashyap’s Aaiya and flew down to London to celebrate her birthday on March 21 with Adi.”

The source further told, “Rani also visited the sets of Yash Chopra’s yet-untitled film. He seems to have given his nod to the relationship, and rumour is that the couple will tie the knot this year.”

Celina is the mom of twin boys!

Actress Celina Jaitley gave birth to twin boys. Their names have also been finalized.

Husband Peter Haag confirmed the news, “I am so happy to inform you that Celina and myself have been blessed happy healthy twin boys, Winston and Viraaj. I am over the moon!” Haag posted.

Haag added: “Yes our angels from heaven are here and we are very happy. Celina and the boys are doing very well health wise too. We just want everyone to bless our handsome boys.”

Celina Jaitley and Peter Haag got married in July 2011.
